Super Cone Dock Fender is the highest evolution of the original Cell Fender, which was first introduced in 1969. Super Cone Dock Fender combines new materials and new manufacturing processes into a unique, new design to nearly double the energy absorption of a Super Cell Fender of the same size.
A small Super Cone Dock Fender will outperform a larger Super Cell Fender. Furthermore as the degree of angular loading increases, the superiority of the Super Cone Dock Fender increases. This phenomenon is particularly important when berthing newer container vessels. The hull flare of these vessels often produces a high degree of angular loading.
